The Esprit de She in Cary has the worst luck.  For two years it was too hot for anyone to complete the 10k, then this past year even though the race was moved up to May, we had a freak storm roll in and they had to cancel the event.  While a few of us ran anyway, the rest of the ladies grabbed their boxes of food and headed home.  We were happy to get a run in though.  Two weeks later, the Esprit folks hosted a make-up event in honor of National Running Day at the Lifetime Fitness in Cary.  That event was very nice.  A 5k run followed by wine and a chance to receive our medals.

In the middle of the month, we celebrated another fun run, this time in honor of the movie Sixteen Candles.  We went on a run and then watched the movie and had snacks and a cake to celebrate.  It was fantastic.
