Training for a marathon seems like an awesome idea until the summer hits. You definitely feel happy when you are done with a long run in the summer. Oh my. Anyways, on top of all the summer long runs, we also celebrated the lovely Leslie Grinage, who moved to Davidson to be a Dean! I got a bunch of running in while I was at the beach and in Los Angeles and on one of my runs in L.A. I hit 1200 miles for the year. My favorite run in L.A. was definitely the 10 miler I did that took me from the hotel all the way to the Chinese Theatre and back again. I missed dinner that night, but not Korean Karaoke.
